Smoking can kill you!

You may think or wish that this would not happen to you. In 2010 alone over 32,000 women in the UK lost their lives to smoking-related diseases. The World Health Organization estimates that the global yearly death toll as a result of tobacco use is currently 6 million. In 2009 smoking claimed more lives than obesity, alcohol, traffic accidents, illegal drugs and HIV infection taken together.

Further ASH 2009 statistics reveal that smoking caused:

  • 90% of lung cancer deaths, 80% of bronchitis and emphysema deaths and around 17% of deaths from heart disease;
  • one-third of all cancer deaths are caused by smoking, including lung, mouth, lip, throat, bladder, kidney, stomach, liver and cervix cancer; and
  • half of all life-long smokers will die prematurely, losing on average about 10 years of life.

In addition, here is a sample list of diseases that may not be fatal but could still cause years of debilitating illness ONLY BECAUSE YOU SMOKE. These include angina, peripheral vascular disease, colon polyps, Crohn’s, stomach ulcers, gum disease, tooth loss, back pain, osteoporosis, cataracts, opthic neuropathy, psoriasis, depression, hearing loss, asthma, 30% lower female fertility, an over-active thyroid gland, multiple sclerosis and influenza.

What about your beauty?

You are beautiful, delicate and special. It has been clinically proven that smoking can add years to your appearance. Over 4000 chemicals that are in tobacco already begin the destruction of collagen and elastin that will make once firm body to drop significantly. This will affect not only your face but also your whole figure and you may end up with those very unwanted sagging arms and breasts. Here are some more ‘extra benefits’ that you will get for free if you smoke:

  • lines around the lips and crow’s feet eye wrinkles;
  • a grayish and wasted skin appearance;
  • smokers in their 40's often have as many facial wrinkles as non-smokers in their 60's;
  • the damaging effects of cigarette smoke on the skin are often irreversible;
  • discoloration of the fingers and nails;
  • a two to three-fold higher risk of developing psoriasis;
  • abnormal fat distribution, more likely to be around the waist and upper torso rather than around the hips;
  • swollen gums, bad breath and teeth falling out;
  • damaged eye blood vessels creating a bloodshot appearance.

This is NOT how you want to look and NOT how you want other people to see you. This is so far away from today’s successful, beautiful and strong woman. We can help you so do not need to waste or throw away your precious beauty any longer. ACT NOW.

Money business

IF you smoke 10 cigarettes a day and if you continue to smoke for the next 20 years you will burn over £27,000. However, if you smoke 20 cigarettes a day then this will increase to well over £50,000. Yes, £50,000! For the average smoking lady in the UK, this means that she will have spent 2 years WORKING FOR FREE.

And think about this! Just as you spend money and harm yourself, someone else is getting richer. British American Tobacco, the world’s second largest tobacco company in 2011, reported group-operating profits of £4,721 MILLION. In 2010-11 the Government earned £10.6 BILLION in revenues from tobacco tax. And that is why it is in your OWN interests to stop smoking, and no-one else’s.
